     Another studio-enforced project from a time when Hitchcock was still paying his dues.  A widowed farmer advertises for a new wife, finds all of the applicants unacceptable, then realizes his perfect mate all along has been his own maid.  I'm not giving anything away because it only takes about five minutes to figure out the "surprise" ending.  - JL
